Work is automatically allocated by the server to either the closest driver, or the driver who has been waiting the longest since their last job. It’s up to you how the server chooses which driver to give the next job to – or you can let the server choose depending on how busy your circuit is at any given time.
When drivers bid for a job, the drivers who are slower with their PDA can sometimes get left behind. With Storm despatch, this problem is avoided and the driver who has been waiting the longest to get a job takes priority over a driver who has just had a job.
